In an effort to ensure the safety of our students at Grace High School, we would like to clarify the carpool procedures for student drop off and pick up. Our ultimate goal is for students and parents to have a smooth process when arriving and departing school. Thank you in advance for remembering to be kind, courteous and patient throughout this process.
Arriving after 7:15 AM ensures your child will be late for class. If you arrive earlier than the pickup times, our bus lanes will be obstructed.
STUDENTS NOT INVOLVED IN A SPONSORED EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY MUST EXIT CAMPUS BY 3:10 PM.
Please do not attempt to cut through the parking areas, as it creates a serious safety hazard. If we have cars in the parking lot traveling in multiple directions, it jeopardizes the safety of our students, faculty, staff and pedestrians. In addition, please be very cautious and watch for other cars as well as pedestrians.
• Back Porch:
Enter through Division Street parking lot gate closest to West Esplanade and exit through gate closet to Veterans. Please pull as far forward as possible before stopping for your child to exit the vehicle. Traffic will flow more smoothly if you exit to the right on Division Street out of the parking lot.
• Front Porch:
o Only students with special needs riding on the designated school bus will be allowed to disembark at this site.
