The Irish Eyes is Grace King’s quarterly, student newspaper. The purpose of the Irish Eyes is to report news relevant to Grace King and the surrounding community. Members of Irish Eyes meet as a class and after school. During our meetings, our goal is to create a fun and exciting atmosphere conducive to learning and sharing ideas. We pride ourselves on our ethics, and we strive to be as honest and objective as humanly possible.

The Grace King Irish Eyes was established in August of 1978.
Every fall, the staff attends and competes at the Louisiana Scholastic Press Association Conference at Louisiana Sate University hosted by the Manship School of Journalism. Every spring, the staff competes in the Tom Bell Silver Scribe Competition at Loyola University hosted by The Maroon, Loyola’s campus paper.
